While hate crimes have never ceased to exist, their recent escalation in the United States has introduced a long overdue call to action.
In an attempt to prevent continued spread of hatred and to increase security for targeted groups, MAKER and Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) made the call for increased funding for the state of New York.
